Seems kind of strange. I like stuff from the past for some reason. Examples I have:
Curtis Mathes vcr (1985). Has outlasted two newer vcrs and two dvd players. Still works, too. Love the "One-Touch Recording" feature. Record up to four hours (in one hour blocks) with one button.
Remote? Eight buttons. That's it.
Rotary phone (1960s). Recent purchace. I plan on using it as long as the phone companies support pulse dialing where I live. Nice change from all the cordless phones in my house.
Typewriter. While I would prefer a mechanical typewriter, I like the electric one my mother owns (but never uses). Had to use it once when I couldn't access my computer.
I should stage a "photoshoot" of some of the stuff that could count as "blast from the past" material.
Depends on when I can find the time. Laters.

Ah, jeez! That'll be nominated for "Understatement of the Year", won't it?

Take a deep breath
let out a sigh
Accept the world
